Most of these sessions need nothing. Not a mat, not shoes, not a cleared room.
That’s deliberate. Every piece of kit is one more reason to do it later.
What you actually need
A patch of floor roughly the size of you lying down. That’s it.
If you’ve got a mat, fine. If the floor’s cold, socks. If the room is small, we’ll tell you which sessions work in a small room.
Why not shoes
Half of these are floor-based, and shoes make that awkward. The standing bits work barefoot or in socks on carpet — on a hard floor, bare feet, because socks slide and you’ll spend the session thinking about not sliding.
That’s the entire equipment discussion.
The point
You’re more likely to do this at 10pm in the kitchen than you are to do anything that needs changing into gym clothes first.
So it’s built to be done at 10pm in the kitchen.
